Whitepaper V4.1

18. Operator Economy

Approved

Operators provide network services; they should earn compensation for measurable work rather than passive proximity to the project. Operator economics can use IONON for bonding/staking and fees, while a reputation layer records attributable performance.

Key operator metrics include uptime, policy-correct execution, routing quality, incident history, latency, evidence completeness and dispute outcomes. Slashing or economic penalties require objective, appealable evidence and must not be delegated to an opaque model output.

The 5M Operator Cells allocation is a maximum program envelope. Distribution should be work-based and gated by published schedules, not an automatic inflation stream.
