Whitepaper V4.1
3. Claim Taxonomy and Evidence Discipline
Approved
IONON uses four evidence states in public and technical documentation.
| State | Meaning | Publication rule |
|---|---|---|
| VERIFIED-PUBLIC | Independently verifiable through contracts, official registries, signed releases or third-party systems | May be stated as fact with proof link |
| MANAGEMENT-CONFIRMED | Confirmed by the project and supported by internal evidence, but not yet independently reproducible | Must be explicitly attributed and scheduled for evidence publication |
| IMPLEMENTED-PRIVATE / TEST | Running in controlled environments or repositories not publicly auditable | May be described as test/alpha, never as production |
| PLANNED / PROPOSED | Economic, technical or governance design not yet activated | Must not be phrased as live functionality |
This taxonomy is not cosmetic. It protects builders, users, counterparties and the DAO from the most common credibility failure in crypto and AI infrastructure: marketing pages that silently mix live code, prototypes and future intent.
