5. System Architecture: The Economic Control Plane

Approved

IONON’s central object is not the token. It is the authorized economic action.

Agentic lifecycle

Every material action should answer ten questions before value moves:

  1. Who is the principal? A human or legal entity with an accountable identity.
  2. Which agent is acting? A permanent AgentID with verifiable lineage.
  3. What authority was delegated? Role, tool scope, data scope, jurisdiction and value limits.
  4. What is the intent? A normalized, signed Order or Mandate.
  5. Which policies apply? Limits, allowlists, risk conditions, approvals and timing rules.
  6. What did simulation predict? Expected assets, counterparties, slippage, cost and failure modes.
  7. Was additional approval required? Human or multi-party approval can be a deterministic gate.
  8. Which execution path was selected? Chain, bridge, DEX, card, stablecoin or other regulated rail.
  9. What actually settled? Receipts and state changes must be linked to the originating Order.
  10. What evidence remains? Identity, policy verdict, route, signatures, receipts and timestamps become the audit record.

A model can recommend. A model cannot silently expand its own economic authority.
